Requirements 2.1 Hardware Requirements The minimum hardware requirements recommended for Ascom Unite applications are listed in Table 1 on page 2. The configuration also requires knowledge about Ascom professional messaging. 1.2 Assumed Knowledge You should have a fundamental understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 operating system, Microsoft Windows Internet Information Services (IIS), Microsoft Windows SQL Server 2008 or 2012 concepts, along with fundamental firewall, security, and networking knowledge. The solution provides central administration and offers integration, for example, with nurse call and patient monitoring systems. Internet Information Services Secure Sockets Layer provides communication security over the Internet Unite Application Manager: A server for the administration of Ascom professional messaging system. Image Presentation Server is an application that stores and distributes ECG images.
